Herniated Disc? Venue of "Ayurveda" for better relief!

What a record?

The spinal column consists of the vertebrae (bones of the spine), which have cartilage discs between them. The discs are composed of a circle of connective tissue with a central gel base. This makes the spine flexible and at the same time acts as a protective barrier.

What is a herniated disc?

A herniated disc is when the soft part of the disk protrudes through the circle of connective tissue. This May prolapse push into the spinal cord or nerve roots. However, it is interesting to note that 20 percent of the population have slipped discs without experience any noticeable symptoms.

The term slipped disc "does not really describe the process properly – the disc does not slip out of place, but is rounded to the spinal cord.

What causes a herniated disk?

There are many factors that increase the risk of hernia: (1) The choice of style of life such as smoking, lack of regular exercise and proper diet contribute significantly to the health of the poor hard. (2) With the aging of the body, changes natural biochemical cause discs to gradually drying affect the strength of unity and resistance. At what age can a herniated disk that happen?

A herniated disc in his lower back is most often observed between the ages of 30 and 50. In the cervical in the neck, slipped discs are most often seen between the ages of 40 and 60.

The symptoms of nerve root pressure:

The paralysis of the muscles, possibly with pain radiating to the arms or legs. Also may be altered sensation in the limbs.

The symptoms of pressure on the spinal cord:

What happens in a session of Ayurveda?

The first consultation involves taking the patient's total history. An analysis is performed by visual examination of the eyes, the color of the tongue, nails, skin, etc. Once the verbal and visual analysis have been completed, further investigation is to examine tender points (Marma points). Based on these investigations, a final image is drawn on the patient with regard to the three biochemical forces, Vata, Pitta, Kapha. With a complete history and Ayurvedic Medical research determines the amount of treatment needed. Typically, the treatment period was 7/14/21/28 days according to the severity of disease.

Treatment usually consists of a series of Abhyangam, SWEDAM, Nasyam, ELAKIZHI, NAVARAKIZHI, Kati Vasti Vashti Kashaya & Vashti etc ANUVASANA Marma Chikitsa, Meru Chikitsa (Ayurvedic Neuro-therapy) and Chikitsa Vatahara Chikitsa Brumhana airs.
